Verdo Energy Systems, based on its expertise within building energy plants, can play a significant role in the reconstruction of Ukraine's energy supply. Companies within Randers municipality together with 30 other Danish companies will be in Poland to meet with the representatives from the Ukrainian municipalities at the international conference, “Rebuild Ukraine”.

While the damage in Ukraine is becoming more and more extensive due to Russia's invasion, Danish companies are getting ready to help rebuild the country as soon as the war is over.

One of the companies is Verdo Energy Systems and Bo Johansen who is the sales director expresses that it is obvious to want to assist with new Danish technology.

“We already have a branch in Poland, and we have both the technology and the experience, so we have to offer our assistance. It is an opportunity for us as a company and it is equally an opportunity for Ukraine to not only recreate what was lost, but also for their technological development to be at the same level as we have in Denmark. We would really like to contribute to this,” says sales director Bo Johansen.

Bo Johansen, Sales Manager, Verdo Energy Systems.

For several years, Verdo Energy Systems has specialized in combining many different technologies. They customize automated energy plants to fit special local conditions. They started with the development of biomass plants in Denmark and today the company operates all over Europe and has most recently sold various types of waste plants to Norwegian municipalities.

“No two places are alike as there may be different needs for fuels or a need for the combined production of heating and electricity. There is also the whole environmental aspect of it, where we are ready to prepare plants that capture CO2. But the most important thing is that we can help the individual municipalities in Ukraine with energy solutions that are adapted to meet each of their needs”, explains Bo Johansen.

The sales director is now looking forward to meeting with the representatives from the Ukrainian municipalities and starting a dialogue about the needs and opportunities they see.

“Rebuild Ukraine” will be a two-day conference and will take place in Warszawa.  In addition to critical infrastructure (energy), the conference also covers construction, logistics, security, IT solutions, and finance.
