Sustainable energy is our core business. We develop green energy plants for industry and energy supply services both in Denmark and abroad. We are among Europe’s leading suppliers of sustainable, certified biomass for the industrial sector and for district heating plants. We supply our customers with heating, water and power 24/7/365.

We take responsibility for the green transformation. Since 2009, we have reduced CO2 emissions from our CHP plant in Randers by 99%.

Our history

The story of Verdo began in 1874 when the company started supplying water to the people of Randers. Since then we have kept up with our customers’ developing energy needs. We have made a compilation of the most important events in our company’s history.

Organization

Verdo is a privately held, consumer-governed company headed by an Executive Board consisting of seven members. The consumer-elected Board of Representatives is the group’s supreme authority and appoints the Supervisory Board.
